France: Investing ‘has never been easier'

Relocating or buying a second home in France is now simpler than ever, claims one magazine.

According to the American Chronicle, the Eurostar service has boosted interest in the French market amongst British property buyers.

The American Chronicle commented: "France's appeal to Britons stems partly from the fact that it is so easily accessible by various means, including by air and train.

"The Eurostar in particular has made investing in France a much quicker process, as it recently introduced a high-speed rail link between London and Paris.

"This service has cut journey times between the two cities to two hours and 15 minutes - 20 minutes less than previous routes.

"As a result, it can now compete more effectively with airlines which offer speedy passage to the country."
